It is the mission of Football “U” to enhance the skills and heighten the knowledge of athletes in the game of football. It is through customized instructions designed to embrace the full abilities of participates as players and citizens with the intention of excelling each individual to a high level of performance on the football field and in the community.

High School: Attended Hazelwood Central in Hazelwood, MO. He was a two sport athlete playing basketball and football. As a quarter back and defensive back in football he received all conference honors. He was also part of a state championship football team in 1996.
College: After a great freshman campaign at Missouri WesternUniversity he transferred to Culver Stockton College  While attending Culver Stockton he was a three time all conference and two time All American.  As a junior he lead the country with 92 receptions and 1,100 yards.  He finished college with 225 career receptions.
Professional: After different AFL, CFL and NFL workouts he played with the Rapid City Red Dogs in South Dakota. Over a three year period he played for Omaha Beef and the River City Rage which are part of the Indoor Football League.
Coaching: After his playing career he started coaching football for Roosevelt High School in 2007-2009. Starting in 2009 he began coaching for Maplewood Blue Devils.  As the co offensive coordinator he helped lead his team to a state runner up finish in 2010 and a final four finish in 2011.  As the assistant track coach in 2011 he helped the team win the 3rd track title in a row.







Brandon Gregory: Director of Football Operations

High School- Attended Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, MO.  Was three sport athlete, playing football, basketball and track. In football, received All Conference honors as a defensive back and wide receiver. Played in the State Championship  football game in 1997 vs. Jefferson City. On the track, He won state in the 300 hurdles and anchored the 4x100,4x200, and 4x400 relays to place in the state championship meet. 

College- After 2 years of going to Hutchinson Junior College in Kansas, he received a scholarship to the University of New Mexico. While at UNM, he played defensive back and started as a Junior and Senior. Played in the Sega Sports Las Vegas Bowl vs. UCLA in 2002 on Christmas day.

Professional- After different NFL (National Football League) and AFL (Arena Football League) workouts, he landed with the River City Rage in his hometown of St Louis. He played with the Rage for 5 years where he was a key contributor and a “fans” favorite.

Coaching- Has coached football and track and field at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School for the past 7 years. In his 1st year as Head Coach, he took his team to a 14 and 1 record, losing in the State Championship game. It was the schools 1st appearance ever.  On the track, he has coached his team to three consecutive state titles. (2009,2010,2011).  2010 St Louis American and Demetrius Johnson Foundation Coach of the Year (2010). MSHSAA 2011 Track Coach of the Year.
